Uganda Report

The $5 tasting fee charged in Cellar Door is donated to charitable projects in Uganda.

Since 2010 Two Hands has raised in excess of $200,000 from tasting fee donations to support the Uganda Project and other local initiatives through the Kain Foundation. This year Danyelle Robson made the trip to the African equator, and had the following to say:

The experience was incredible, very emotional and so much fun. I felt so proud to be spending time with the people whose lives have been changed by the projects and be shown what our generosity can do. It was incredibly humbling for me. It was an experience that I would recommend over and over, and the fact that I got this opportunity through Two Hands is unique and extremely rewarding.

“I got to see first hand the positive impact the Kain Foundation has had on infrastructure, women and children, and whole communities. We went from teaching kids in classrooms and teaching them Aussie Rules, to planting trees in community gardens to building homes for children who have never had one – AMAZING.”
