The 2018 Single Vineyard Series Release

In early February, while patiently waiting for the grapes to ripen Michael Twelftree and Head Viticulturist, Travis Coombe sat down in our Holy Grail Vineyard to taste through the wonderful 2018 Single Vineyard Wines.

Watch them discuss the nuances of each wine produced in the 2018 vintage:

Michael wrote in our Instinct newsletter in April 2018:

The 2018 vintage  was characterised to two large heat events 10 days apart in late January. These events really sorted the men out from the boys, and now a few weeks later I could not be happier with the perfect state of our vineyard. In late February the weather was spot on with cool nights and warm days with many sunlight hours. Our feeling is that if this Indian summer weather pattern continues, we will have alcohol and flavour development in perfect sync. The resulting wines will be extremely talented.
