Concordis is a unique collaborative winemaking project that unites 4 Barossa Valley producers, @kaeslerwines, @seppeltsfield Winery, @torbreckbarossa, and Two Hands Wines to create a special cuvée made from one tonne of the finest Shiraz grapes from 4 consecutive vintages.
The purpose of the initiative is to give back to the region that has been so supportive of the four wineries, with the aim to raise more than $700,000 over the initial four years with all proceeds going to a perpetual education fund.
With the assistance of Foundation Barossa, the fund now provides scholarships to assist those affected by homelessness, mental health, disability or other areas of disadvantage. The Concordis Social Inclusion Trust is a two-pronged approach to address homelessness, mental health, disability or other areas of disadvantage by providing scholarships for individuals affected by these issues to provide a pathway to address this disadvantage & ndividuals working in these key areas of disadvantage to better respond to the areas of disadvantage identified and to work with the community to prevent the causes of disadvantage.
With only 1,600 magnums made annually starting with the first vintage from 2014, Concordis is the perfect collector’s item.
2017 is the final vintage of the project. Be sure to get yours before this wonderful wine is no longer produced.
