“A wonderful stream of dark purple flows into the glass, this is a straight up a WOW+.Notes of cassis, bright red berries, western red cedar, lavender, liquorice, crushed blackcurrants. Very deep black in colour right to the edge of the glass. The palate is huge intexture and has layer after layer of concentrated fruits. This is a full bodied and robustwine with a lovely core of energy. Currently this is wound up pretty tight but will unfurl overmany years. In the end I am met with a lot of pleasure from this bottling and I like andrespect is shyness as a young wine and feel that it has the persistence and clarity to makevery old bones. This is a gob smacking ride that is best decanted and enjoyed with a hardcheese and good friends. The tannin chain is juicy and long and the fruit reverberates allaround your mouth on a long a distinguished palate, YUM+”
