INSTINCTIVELY CURIOUS – February News 2023

VINTAGE 23
It’s a slow build-up to this vintage, we are still a few weeks away but optimistic about some fantastic quality wines coming out of it. Around the vineyards, we are starting to see veraison happening and expect to start picking our first grapes in mid-March. Vintage is an exciting time for any winery and we will be sharing lots of updates across our socials. Make sure you are following us to keep up to date with what’s happening around the winery.

2020 LILY’S GARDEN – UPDATE
The 2020 vintage of the Lily’s Garden McLaren Vale Shiraz is now unfortunately sold out and the Samantha’s Garden Clare Valley Shiraz is not far behind. To make up for the sold-out 2020, we have dipped into our museum stock and made a small amount of 2018 and 2019 Lily’s Garden Shiraz available for those hardcore Lily’s fans.

The best way to not miss out each year is to join our Wine Club as a Garden Series member. Members receive the Garden Series packs when they are first released each November and are guaranteed an allocation. CELLAR DOOR ON THE ROAD
We are hitting the road in March with a special dinner in Canberra at the fantastic Chairman & Yip. This dinner has already sold out, but we will be hosting more dinners around the country throughout the year. Make sure to keep an eye on your inbox for invites and announcements as we send them out for future dinners and events.

Speaking of events, have you booked tickets for the Barossa Vintage Festival yet? Our special tasting event, “From the Garden to the Holy Grail” is being held at the Barossa Cellar. A great venue purpose-built to showcase the amazing wines and wine heritage of the Barossa. This event will give you access to our entire portfolio and owners Michael Twelftree and Pierre-Henri Morel along with Chief Winemaker Richard Langford for the very first time!
