The Vintage Journal 2023 Summer Wine Guide

The Vintage Journal is a collaboration between Andrew Caillard MW and Angus Hughson PhD. Andrew Caillard MW is a former wine auctioneer and widely respected fine wine expert with a specialist knowledge in Australian wine, Bordeaux and other international wines.

The Vintage Journal’s 2023 Summer Wine guide is a personal selection of favourite wines tasted by Andrew Caillard MW and Angus Hughson PhD during the second half of 2023, from both Australia and New Zealand.

“Mid-ruby in colour for this modern expression of McLaren Vale Grenache that immediately approachable, thanks to luscious layers of cherry liqueur, new leather and liquorice all sorts wrapped up in a silky cloak of oak.
